Human Resources Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage the HR team, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities.
• Oversee the performance management process, including evaluations and ongoing feedback.
• Collaborate with leaders to identify staffing needs and maintain talent pipelines.
• Design and implement learning programs for team members and leaders.
• Support payroll process improvements and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Lead small to mid-level HR projects with significant organizational impact.
• Advise managers on team member growth, coaching, and succession planning.
• Ensure HR team members have clear goals, priorities, and accountability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Human Resources.
• 5+ years of experience as an HR Manager.
• Proven leadership experience managing an HR team.
• Strong knowledge of the Employment Standards Act (ESA).
• Experience with HRIS, ATS, and payroll processes.
• Strong people skills, strategic and analytical thinking.
• Critical thinker, detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.

Nice to Have

• CHRP or CHRL certification considered an asset.
