Senior Cybersecurity Specialist - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team remotely. In this role, you will define, develop, and implement policies and processes to ensure compliance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Insider Threat Program. You will collaborate with various security and intelligence entities to optimize user activity monitoring aimed at detecting and analyzing insider threats.

What You'll Do

• Define and develop processes and standards for the successful implementation of the Insider Threat program.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address potential threats and refine organizational policies to strengthen security posture.
• Perform administrative and technical duties as a first-level supervisor, directing and coordinating the daily work of personnel in the branch.
• Integrate and analyze information to conduct counterintelligence and criminal investigations into insider threats.
• Report findings and recommend mitigation actions to leadership.

Requirements

• Must have at least one year of specialized experience in cybersecurity.
• Experience advising on key directives and regulations related to threat-related information integration.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to various audiences, including senior leadership and legal teams.
• Must obtain Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) within the first two years of employment.
• Must pass a Counterintelligence scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a supervisory role within cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with the DoD Insider Threat Program.
• Knowledge of security clearance processes and requirements.
