Sales Representative - Pharmacy in Central/​Southern Portugal

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Sales Representative to join our team at HARTMANN. This Sales Representative remote position will focus on promoting and selling our pharmaceutical products in Central and Southern Portugal, specifically in Lisbon. You will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare professionals and making a positive impact on people's lives.

What You'll Do

  • Achieve individual sales targets as outlined in the annual sales plan.
  • Act as the liaison between HARTMANN Portugal and external stakeholders, including clients and KOLs.
  • Proactively generate new leads within your assigned geographical area and develop distribution channels.
  • Plan and conduct client visits in accordance with the classification matrix and priorities set by management.
  • Execute direct sales (sell-in) to pharmacists/distributors or special clients.
  • Implement actions that drive sell-out, including trade marketing activities such as merchandising and promotions.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the commercial performance of clients, providing operational and technical support to enhance sales performance.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients through regular visits, phone calls, and updates.
  • Provide training and support to professionals/clients regarding portfolio categories and new trends.
  • Have a thorough understanding of pricing and negotiate in HARTMANN's best interest when necessary.
  • Plan and report daily activities in CRM (Salesforce): contacts, visits, calls, reports, and medium/long-term opportunities.
  • Assess client potential to adjust and optimize segmentation and targeting.
  • Establish a realistic and efficient contact plan for each client in your assigned area.
  • Utilize the order registration program (Pop sales).
  • Work remotely whenever possible, conducting meetings via Teams.
  • Collaborate closely with the local ComEx team as a Systems Key User.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the sector.
  • Experience in multinational FMCG or OTC companies is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working with commercial data management systems (Salesforce) is essential.
  • A degree in management, marketing, or a related field.
  • A master's degree in a management or business-related area is a plus.
  • Native Portuguese speaker with strong communication skills in English, both oral and written; knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within Portugal is essential.
  • Valid driver's license, category B.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Analytical and conceptual thinking ability.
  • A positive and constructive personality, able to collaborate with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Individual mindset aligned with the company's core values.
