Sales Executive - Join the Fight Against Food Waste
About the Role
Are you ready to take your first or second step in your sales career? Do you want to learn, grow, and simultaneously make a positive impact on the world? Then this is your chance. At Too Good To Go, you will work on something that truly matters: together with entrepreneurs and millions of app users, we help prevent food waste. We are looking for new Sales Waste Warriors with a strong dose of energy and curiosity. People who genuinely want to build something meaningful.
What You'll Do
- As a Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in our mission. You will ensure that local entrepreneurs—from bakeries to neighborhood shops—join Too Good To Go.
- Your day starts with a good cup of coffee at our sunny office in Amsterdam (or from home if you prefer). You will meet with your team for a weekly check-in to share plans and celebrate successes.
- After that, you will open Salesforce, review your pipeline, and start making calls. Your goal is to speak with about 40 entrepreneurs daily: from supermarkets to lunchrooms, and get them excited about Too Good To Go.
- Once an entrepreneur is on board, you will guide them through their first 28 days, ensuring they are well integrated, can offer their first Surprise Packages, and get the most out of our platform.
- You will be their first point of contact and make a difference in their initial experience with Too Good To Go.
- Throughout the day, you will maintain your pipeline, analyze your progress, and brainstorm with colleagues on improvements. And of course, you will have time for a delicious lunch and coffee breaks at the office.
- You will end your day feeling accomplished: making an impact!
Requirements
- You are a true connector and easily establish relationships with potential partners (like neighborhood shops, bakeries, butchers).
- You are not afraid to make calls and gain energy from conversations.
- You are an excellent listener and know how to ask the right questions.
- You proactively seek out and call new leads, showing perseverance when challenges arise.
- You work independently, keep track of your tasks, and communicate openly with your team.
- This is an entry-level position, so you do not need years of experience.
