About the Role

We're looking for a reliable, motivated Kitchen Porter to join our team at the Canary Wharf office. This Kitchen Porter remote position is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in starting a career in the catering industry. You will work Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness.
• Keep the kitchen, storage areas, and floors clean and organized.
• Assist chefs with ad-hoc tasks when required, contributing to a collaborative environment.
• Take out rubbish and maintain waste areas to ensure hygiene standards.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods, ensuring timely food preparation and delivery.
• Follow hygiene and food safety standards diligently to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Experience working in a food environment is preferred.
• Food Safety Level 2 certification is a plus.
• Good awareness of health and safety regulations, including COSHH.
• Strong communication skills and a neat, tidy appearance.
• A helpful attitude and a flexible, reliable approach to work.
