Digital Marketing Operator - Remote Position in Cannabis Industry

About the Role

Trip is a cannabis and psychedelic marketing agency building something new. We're looking for a hands-on Digital Marketing Operator remote to join us at the ground floor — someone who can execute across multiple digital channels, move fast, and help shape the way we deliver results in these industries.

What You'll Do

• Publish and optimize SEO content in WordPress.
• Update and maintain client websites and landing pages.
• Build and schedule email marketing campaigns.
• Create simple marketing graphics using tools like Canva.
• Schedule and manage social media content.
• Implement internal linking and basic SEO improvements.
• Assist with campaign reporting and analytics.
• Use AI tools to accelerate marketing workflows.
• Support campaign execution across multiple clients.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of digital marketing experience, ideally in a Digital Marketing Operator remote role.
• Experience with WordPress or a similar CMS.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and content marketing.
• Experience building or managing email marketing campaigns.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proactive mindset and strong attention to detail.
• Comfort using AI tools to solve marketing problems and streamline workflows.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, ChatGPT, Asana, Slack, Google Analytics, and SEMrush.
• Interest in cannabis and psychedelics.
