Product Analytics Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

Join XBOW as a Product Analytics Engineer and help us redefine the future of cybersecurity. In this remote role, you will own product analytics end-to-end, ensuring that our product team is genuinely data-informed. You will be responsible for defining what to measure, building the pipelines that capture data, and surfacing insights that drive product improvements. What You'll Do

• Own product analytics end-to-end, from event taxonomy and instrumentation through to dashboards and insight delivery.
• Build and extend instrumentation to improve frontend event tracking and add server-side event capture.
• Design dashboards that product managers use daily to track feature adoption, user engagement, and retention signals.
• Define what we measure and why, creating and maintaining our event taxonomy and measurement framework.
• Surface insights proactively by spotting usage patterns and adoption trends, bringing them to the product team with context.
• Enable self-service analysis by building data models and documentation for PMs and stakeholders.
• Maintain data quality and trust by monitoring event pipelines and fixing issues before they affect analytics.

Requirements

• Experience building product analytics systems from early stage, defining event taxonomies, and creating dashboards.
• Proficiency with event-based analytics platforms like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or PostHog.
• Experience implementing both client-side and server-side event tracking.
• Strong coding skills in TypeScript, Python, or Node.js, and SQL for data modeling.
• Ability to prioritize effectively in a startup or high-growth environment.

• Experience with GitHub, Gong, or Salesforce for customer feedback.
• Strong opinions about data quality and a user journey-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying insights to non-technical stakeholders.
