Full-Stack Swift Developer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Full-Stack Swift Developer to join our dynamic team at TellySynco. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to work on the next generation of connected TV experiences. As a Full-Stack Swift Developer, you will be responsible for managing the entire product stack, from the user-friendly tvOS interface to the robust server-side APIs and data pipelines that power our applications.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain tvOS application UI using SwiftUI and UIKit, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Implement Apple platform integrations, including Siri Remote and StoreKit, with a focus on accessibility and performance.
• Architect, build, and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs using Vapor or Hummingbird.
• Manage relational database schemas, preferably PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and efficient migrations.
• Oversee authentication and authorization flows, enforcing security best practices throughout the backend.
• Monitor system health and respond to production incidents with a structured on-call mindset.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in Swift development, with a strong understanding of Swift concurrency.
• Experience with at least one shipped tvOS or iOS application on the App Store.
• Hands-on experience with a Swift server framework such as Vapor or Hummingbird.
• Strong command of PostgreSQL, including query optimization and schema migrations.
• Fluency in REST API design principles and/or GraphQL schema design.

Nice to Have

• Experience with video streaming protocols and CDN integration.
• Familiarity with CloudKit and Apple’s authentication services.
• Prior experience in a media technology company.
