Senior Data Analyst - Looker, SQL, BigQuery (Remote)

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team at Quote.com, where you'll work remotely to leverage your expertise in Looker, SQL, and BigQuery. This role is pivotal in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions across our organization.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain Looker dashboards that provide real-time visibility into lead generation and partner performance metrics.
• Write complex SQL queries in BigQuery to analyze large datasets spanning insurance leads and marketing attribution.
• Develop LookML models that accurately represent business logic and enable self-service analytics.
• Analyze campaign performance and revenue trends to identify optimization opportunities.
• Create automated reporting workflows to ensure stakeholders have timely, accurate data.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to define KPIs and build measurement frameworks.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives with data-backed recommendations.
• Monitor data quality within analytics outputs and resolve discrepancies with the data engineering team.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a data analyst, business intelligence, or analytics role.
• Strong expertise in Looker and LookML, including building dashboards and explores.
• Proficient in SQL with experience writing complex queries against large datasets.
• Experience with BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses.
• Ability to translate business questions into structured analyses.
• Good communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with transformation tools like DBT.
• Advanced skills in Google Sheets or Excel for modeling and ad hoc analysis.
• Experience with Python or R for data analysis and automation.
• Understanding of performance marketing metrics and insurance vertical dynamics.
• Knowledge of ETL/Data Pipelines and version control using Git.
