What You'll Do

• Develop multimodal and explainable AI models for personalized risk prediction, integrating diverse medical imaging modalities with Electronic Health Record (EHR) data.
• Collaborate with radiologists, software engineers, and data scientists to advance AI methodologies that are clinically relevant.
• Conduct research that leads to high-impact publications, focusing on synthetic patient alignment and iterative self-improvement for robust generalization.
• Implement scalable pipelines for EHR data curation and extraction, addressing challenges such as missing data and irregular sampling.
• Create clinically meaningful explainability for multimodal predictors, enhancing the interpretability of AI models in radiology workflows.

Requirements

• PhD Degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g., computer science, data science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics).
• Proven deep learning expertise with practical experience in VAEs, GANs, diffusion models, and transformers.
• Solid experience with Python and PyTorch, along with proficiency in software development tools like GIT.
• A strong track record of scientific publications in relevant fields.
• Fluency in English is essential.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of clinical prediction statistics, including confounding and selection bias.
• Experience with uncertainty-aware evaluation methods and handling large datasets.
• Familiarity with medical imaging modalities such as X-rays, MRI, and Ultrasound.
