Enterprise Data Architect - Remote Position

About the Role

We're hiring an Enterprise Data Architect to join our reputable government IT services provider. This remote position is ideal for those passionate about transforming public sector technology and enhancing citizen services. As an Enterprise Data Architect, you'll lead the migration of patient care and VA management analyses to the Microsoft Azure cloud, leveraging your expertise in Veteran Affairs data and analytics.

What You'll Do

• Lead the migration of patient care and VA management analyses, reports, queries, and dashboards to Microsoft Azure cloud.
• Utilize your expertise in CDW, VISTA, and Oracle Health data to enhance data architecture.
• Apply advanced skills in CDW Metadata, data modeling, and CDW query optimization.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify architectural migration patterns and resolve data/system dependencies.
• Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders including physicians, nurses, VA IT staff, and leadership.
• Document technical processes and create high-quality migration documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience of 12+ years.
• Proven experience working with CDW, VISTA, and Oracle Health data.
• Expertise in CDW Metadata, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to identify architectural migration patterns and resolve dependencies.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with virtual and/or cloud-based servers and applications is highly preferred.
