Process Engineer - Steam, Water, Gas Distribution (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a Process Engineer - Steam, Water, Gas Distribution (Remote) to join our team at BorsodChem. As a leading manufacturer of MDI, TDI, PVC, and chlor-alkali products in Europe, we are committed to providing high-quality raw materials for various industries. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficiency and safety of our distribution processes.

What You'll Do

• Organize and participate in inspections, preparing reports and documentation.
• Manage 5S inspections and ensure compliance with standards.
• Monitor and analyze the on-site patrolling system.
• Develop and update training materials for staff.
• Oversee waste collection points and track changes in regulations.
• Calculate and upload quarterly results for local LEAN competitions.
• Create and update P&IDs and connection diagrams.
• Support the DDR database management system post-investigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technical Management.
• Up-to-date digital skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Fluent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• Dynamic and proactive personality with strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of BC area is an advantage.
• Experience in EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience in process engineering within the chemical industry.
• Familiarity with Lean methodologies.
• Project management experience.
