About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Plant Human Resources Manager to join our team in the Texas Metropolitan Area. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to lead human resources functions within an automotive manufacturing plant. As a Plant Human Resources Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping the workplace culture and enhancing employee engagement while ensuring compliance with HR policies and practices.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the human resources team and manage employee relations, talent acquisition, and HR operations.
  • Provide overall plant support and ensure a safe, productive work environment.
  • Handle escalated human resources issues with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Optimize HRIS systems to increase efficiency and manage all recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, and retention activities.
  • Generate data, reports, and presentations on human resources-related KPIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of plant human resources management experience.
  • Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry is required.
  • Strong experience with managing Talent Acquisition programs and union labor relations.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

Nice to Have

  • Certifications such as SHRM or HRCI.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and advanced Excel capabilities.
  • Familiarity with the Toyoda Way management principles.
