Oracle Cloud Security Engineer - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Security Engineer to join Bright Vision Technologies in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal in enhancing our cloud security infrastructure and ensuring compliance with industry standards. What You'll Do

• Implement and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) security protocols, including IAM policies and network security.
• Utilize OCI Vault & Key Management for secure data handling and encryption.
• Monitor and log security incidents, ensuring rapid incident response and compliance with governance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and Git.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical guidance and support for security-related projects and initiatives.
• Stay updated on the latest security trends and best practices in cloud security.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as an Oracle Cloud Security Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), IAM policies, and network security.
• Experience with Terraform, CI/CD security practices, and Linux environments.
• Proficiency in incident response and security monitoring.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Nice to Have

• Certifications in cloud security (e.g., CCSP, CISSP).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
