About the Role

Unissant is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. As an AWS Cloud Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and advancing our AWS environments, ensuring operational excellence and innovative service integration.

What You'll Do

  • Lead efforts to ensure seamless operation of our AWS environment, addressing network connectivity and system performance issues.
  • Design and implement advanced network architectures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Evaluate and incorporate emerging AWS services to enhance operational agility and meet zero-trust architecture demands.
  • Produce comprehensive documentation and architecturally sound diagrams to establish best practices.
  • Utilize DevOps tools to streamline operations and automate AWS resource management through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Contribute to AWS cost management initiatives by developing projections and identifying optimization opportunities.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and solutions.
  • Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, or similar for automation and CI/CD.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing network architectures, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Strong understanding of AWS security best practices and troubleshooting AWS-related issues.
  • Familiarity with AWS IAM roles, policies, and identity integration.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Nice to Have

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certifications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
