AWS Cloud Engineer - Remote Position
About the Role
Unissant is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. As an AWS Cloud Engineer remote, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and advancing our AWS environments, ensuring operational excellence and innovative service integration.
What You'll Do
- Lead efforts to ensure seamless operation of our AWS environment, addressing network connectivity and system performance issues.
- Design and implement advanced network architectures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Evaluate and incorporate emerging AWS services to enhance operational agility and meet zero-trust architecture demands.
- Produce comprehensive documentation and architecturally sound diagrams to establish best practices.
- Utilize DevOps tools to streamline operations and automate AWS resource management through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Contribute to AWS cost management initiatives by developing projections and identifying optimization opportunities.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and solutions.
- Proficiency in DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, or similar for automation and CI/CD.
- Expertise in designing and implementing network architectures, adhering to industry best practices.
- Strong understanding of AWS security best practices and troubleshooting AWS-related issues.
- Familiarity with AWS IAM roles, policies, and identity integration.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
