What You'll Do

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug hard real-time embedded software solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create embedded systems for safety and mission-critical applications.
• Work within an Agile environment to meet critical project milestones and ensure compliance with software standards.
• Apply advanced technical principles and contribute to the development of new concepts and solutions.
• Serve as a technical advisor to management and customers on advanced projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 12 years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 10 years, or a PhD with 8 years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Experience in a technical lead position and proficiency in C++ and object-oriented design.
• Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience in architecting and developing software applications for flight systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience with missile flight systems software and DO-178C compliance.
• Knowledge of nuclear surety requirements and ability to assimilate information from multiple sources.
• Master’s degree in engineering or computer science.
