Occupational Therapist for Family Rehabilitation - Remote

About the Role

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist for Family Rehabilitation to join our team at Mehiläinen. This remote position allows you to work with families facing challenges related to neuropsychiatric disorders in children aged 7 to 15. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing meaningful and long-term rehabilitation services. As an Occupational Therapist, you will support families in overcoming daily challenges, enhancing the child's functional capacity, and strengthening the family's resilience.

What You'll Do

• Conduct individual meetings and group sessions with families to provide tailored support.
• Collaborate closely with a network of professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Utilize modern therapeutic tools and materials to facilitate effective rehabilitation.
• Participate in regular team meetings and supervision sessions to enhance your professional development.
• Engage in community events and activities to foster a sense of belonging and support among families.

Requirements

• At least 900 hours of experience in child psychiatric and/or pediatric rehabilitation within the last five years.
• Completion of at least 15 hours of training related to neuropsychiatric disorders in the last three years.
• Experience in leading rehabilitation groups and working with families in their daily lives.
• Willingness to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of families.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist qualification; training as a neuropsychiatric coach is an advantage.
