AI/​ML Engineering Intern - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are excited to announce an opportunity for an AI/ML Engineering Intern to join our team remotely. As an AI/ML Engineering Intern, you will contribute to the research and development of AI inferencing frameworks within the Infrinia team, which is focused on building Inference as a Service. This role is perfect for graduate students or exceptional upper division undergraduate students looking to advance their careers in Machine Learning and AI.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to developing and optimizing AI frameworks such as Dynamo and vLLM.
• Design and execute evaluations to measure model quality and efficiency.
• Deploy serving instances and benchmark inferencing performance.
• Optimize resource utilization on large-scale GPU clusters for AI workloads.
• Stay current with advancements in AI/ML, contribute to cutting-edge research, implement findings to improve performance, and author papers.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a graduate program or upper division of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Coursework and proficiency to support AI/ML understanding.
• Familiarity/Experience with AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Dynamo, and vLLM.
• Hands-on projects demonstrating experience with model frameworks, inferencing, evaluation, and benchmarking.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity/Experience with LLMs and workflows.
