Product Management Working Student - Hybrid Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Management Working Student to join our team at Deutsche Presse-Agentur. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a hybrid remote environment, where you will contribute to the development of critical communication products. As a Product Management Working Student, you will be involved in meaningful projects that impact how information is disseminated in emergency situations.

What You'll Do

• Support product development by assisting in the conception, enhancement, and prioritization of our products.
• Conduct market, competitive, and user analyses to derive actionable recommendations.
• Translate requirements by understanding complex technical products and preparing structured documentation for product decisions.
• Create and maintain product documentation, specifications, and decision-making frameworks.
• Provide hands-on support in daily product management tasks, including workshops and operational duties.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a student, ideally pursuing a Master's degree in fields such as Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related area.
• Strong interest in product management and the ability to grasp complex technical concepts quickly.
• Analytical thinking, independent working style, and the ability to manage multifaceted topics effectively.
• Good prioritization skills and the ability to switch between detailed analysis and the big picture.
• Proficiency in MS Office; experience with tools like Confluence or Miro is a plus.
• Clear and confident communication skills, both within a team and with various stakeholders.
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, are required.

Nice to Have

• Experience in agile methodologies or product management frameworks.
• Familiarity with user experience design principles.
