Senior .NET Software Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Senior .NET Software Engineer to join KinderSystems, a leader in subsidy management software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions. This fully remote position allows you to make an impact from day one while working within the Microsoft ecosystem. As a Senior .NET Software Engineer, you will engage in full-stack development, contributing to backend services, data design, and modern web front-ends.

What You'll Do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance enterprise-level ASP.NET web applications.
• Develop, implement, and test new features and functionalities.
• Optimize application performance and ensure robust security measures are in place.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Oversee daily product standups to report progress and address potential issues.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to internal standards.

Requirements

• 6+ years of recent full-stack development experience with ASP.NET, .NET Core, HTML5, AJAX, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, CSS, and UI frameworks like Telerik and Bootstrap.
• Experience in developing and integrating REST APIs and WSDL/SOAP services.
• Strong SQL expertise, including building and optimizing stored procedures and troubleshooting queries.
• Ability to lead and mentor a development team while remaining hands-on.
• Proficient with Visual Studio (2022 or higher) and source control systems like TFS and Git.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in modernizing legacy applications and migrating to frameworks like Blazor.

• Compensation range of $110,000-$115,000 annually based on experience.
