About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at Kimberly-Clark. In this Occupational Health Nurse remote position, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive health programs and services to our employees. You will be instrumental in ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting a culture of health and wellness across our organization.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the implementation of occupational health programs and services that align with Kimberly-Clark's health and wellness strategy.
  • Manage clinical and non-clinical staff at the clinic, providing first aid and referrals as necessary.
  • Oversee incident management and case management for work-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Ensure compliance with medical surveillance programs in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders such as EHS, HR, and plant management to analyze medical surveillance data and develop preventive measures.
  • Conduct health promotion programs focusing on mental health, nutrition, and physical activity.
  • Maintain accurate electronic health records and manage employee cases to ensure safe returns to work.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in Occupational Health, providing guidance and support to plant teams.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
  • A valid nursing license in the state of practice or the ability to obtain one.
  • 3+ years of experience in Occupational Health or related fields.
  • Exceptional clinical assessment skills and experience in risk assessment and medical surveillance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records systems.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and experience navigating worker’s compensation cases.
  • Certifications in CPR/AED, COHN or COHN-S, and Spirometry (must obtain within specified timeframes).
  • Adept knowledge of EAP, FMLA, ADA, and HIPAA regulations.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in health promotion and wellness program development.
  • Familiarity with ergonomic assessments and workplace safety initiatives.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
