Mobile DevOps Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will bridge development and operations for mobile platforms, ensuring seamless deployment and integration of mobile applications. As a Mobile DevOps Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in Android and iOS deployment, CI/CD automation, and mobile device management to enhance our mobile development processes.

What You'll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Android and iOS apps using tools like Jenkins, Bitrise, Fastlane, or GitHub Actions.
• Manage mobile deployments via AirWatch, MTX, and other MDM solutions.
• Automate build, test, and release processes for mobile applications.
• Implement infrastructure as code and configuration management for mobile environments.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and security teams to ensure smooth releases.
• Monitor and optimize build systems, deployment pipelines, and app performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across build, deployment, and runtime environments.
• Ensure compliance with security and privacy standards during deployments.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of experience in DevOps or Mobile DevOps roles.
• Strong experience with Android and iOS deployment workflows.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Fastlane).
• Hands-on experience with AirWatch, MTX, or similar MDM platforms.
• Solid coding and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Groovy).
• Proficiency in C# and understanding of unit testing frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit).
• Experience working with .NET, MAUI, and other Microsoft mobile solutions.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and branching strategies.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for mobile backend integration.
• Understanding of security best practices for mobile deployments.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, New Relic, Firebase Crashlytics).
• Familiarity with artifact management (Nexus, Artifactory).
• Knowledge of mobile app signing, provisioning profiles, and certificate management.
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks for mobile (Appium, XCTest, Espresso).
• Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
