Cloud Engineer - AI/​Machine Learning Systems (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Cloud Engineer for AI/Machine Learning Systems to join our team remotely. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in cloud technologies and AI to design and implement scalable solutions that enhance our machine learning workflows.

What You'll Do

• Architect and develop decoupled, scalable full-stack applications using cloud technologies.
• Design RESTful and gRPC APIs with a focus on contract-first development and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Utilize your proficiency in back-end languages such as Python, Go, or Java, along with modern front-end frameworks like React or Next.js.
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to ensure reproducible environments.
• Design and deploy robust ML pipelines in cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align ML initiatives with organizational objectives.
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards in handling sensitive data.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Deep knowledge of data modeling across relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) systems.
• Experience with container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML integration and middleware architecture.
• Strong background in Zero Trust architecture and secure software development lifecycles.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Experience with event-driven and reactive AI systems.
• Knowledge of advanced design patterns such as MVC and Dependency Injection.
