SEO Manager - Remote Position at Wpromote

About the Role

We are looking for an SEO Manager to join our growing team at Wpromote! This SEO Manager remote position is perfect for someone with a passion for establishing strong relationships with clients and a natural curiosity for website optimization. You will work with a group of amazing SEO team members that you can learn from and bounce ideas off of.

What You'll Do

• Work on multiple client websites and digital ecosystems by implementing changes across technical SEO, content, and AI search optimization.
• Optimize for visibility across both traditional search engines (Google, Bing) and AI-driven discovery platforms.
• Retain existing business while pursuing profitable growth opportunities in assigned client accounts.
• Communicate regularly with clients via phone/email.
• Strategize with team members to develop integrated SEO and AI Search solutions.
• Keep up with the SEO and AI search landscape through industry research and algorithm updates.
• Create reports and dashboards to gauge performance across rankings, traffic, and AI-driven visibility.
• Present findings and strategic recommendations to clients to influence their content and technical strategies.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience doing SEO work for clients within an agency environment.
• Minimum 1 year of client-facing experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals including keyword research, search intent, and technical SEO.
• Familiarity with AI search systems and how they retrieve and interpret content.
• Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console.
• Ability to quickly pick up new skills and adapt to a rapidly evolving search landscape.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Proactive approach to collaborating with others and managing workload.

Nice to Have

• Experience with content strategy and structured data.
• General knowledge of CMS such as WordPress, Shopify, or Magento.
• Familiarity with emerging AI search tools.
