About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our innovative team at Deloitte. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will engage with business stakeholders, utilizing advanced analytics techniques to tell compelling stories from data.

What You'll Do

• Perform analytics using data science techniques and collaborate with business stakeholders to derive actionable insights.
• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers and project team members, escalating issues as necessary.
• Lead client engagement workstreams focused on process improvement, optimization, and transformation.
• Utilize SQL, R, or Python, along with data visualization tools like Tableau, for comprehensive data analysis and presentation.
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in an Analytics and Strategy role, preferably in the payments or fintech domain.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and provide actionable data insights.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of distilling complex analyses into clear narratives.
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, or Applied Social Sciences.

Nice to Have

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in leading strategic initiatives or transformative analytics projects.
• Familiarity with applied statistical and machine learning techniques.
