New Patient Nurse - Remote Position

About the Role

Join Montu UK as a New Patient Nurse in a fully remote position where you will be the first point of contact for patients embarking on their healthcare journey. As a New Patient Nurse, you will conduct pre-assessment consultations, gathering vital medical information to determine patient suitability for medicinal cannabis treatment. Your role is essential in ensuring that every patient feels supported and informed as they begin their treatment journey.

What You'll Do

• Conduct video-based pre-assessment consultations with patients.
• Gather detailed medical histories, including current medications and family health backgrounds.
• Assess patient suitability for referral to Montu’s expert consultants.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient interactions.
• Provide clear guidance to patients about the onboarding process and address any questions they may have.

Requirements

• A Registered Nurse (NMC registered) with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.
• A degree in Nursing (UK-based qualification).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience working in telehealth or speaking to patients in remote settings is desired.
• Confidence in using digital platforms for remote consultations.
• A compassionate and patient-centred approach to care.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a healthcare setting focused on cannabis-based treatments.
• Familiarity with electronic health records and telemedicine platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
