Senior SysOps Specialist - Remote Opportunities Available

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior SysOps Specialist to join our dynamic team at Colgate-Palmolive. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while ensuring the high availability and security of our infrastructure. As a Senior SysOps Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our 500+ Brandsites and collaborating with development and DevOps teams to enhance our CI/CD pipelines.

What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day system operations, ensuring optimal performance and security across both on-premise and cloud environments.
• Utilize your expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Cloudfront, and Lambda to maintain and improve our infrastructure.
• Design and implement CI/CD stacks, focusing on automation and efficiency.
• Contribute to the architecture of infrastructure, emphasizing security, scalability, and observability best practices.
• Implement robust monitoring and log management solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with developers and release management to design effective delivery pipelines.
• Participate in the architecture design and implementation of monitoring and scaling solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of IT experience, with at least 2 years in a SysOps role.
• Proficiency in AWS and GCP environments.
• Familiarity with CDN technologies (Akamai), OS patching, and log monitoring.
• Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with the AEM stack, including Cloud Manager and Dispatcher.
• Certification in SysOps is preferred.
• Knowledge of container-based frameworks such as Kubernetes, including developing manifests and creating Docker images.
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM development teams.
