Mid-Level Systems Engineer - All-Domain Operations (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Mid-Level Systems Engineer - All-Domain Operations (Remote) to join our team at Mission Technologies. This position is essential for managing the day-to-day operations and technical readiness of our program and facility equipment. You will provide technical expertise in support of 24/7/365 watch-standing duties, ensuring system reliability and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability analyses for total systems.
• Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Conduct functional analysis, timeline analysis, and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Provide technical expertise for the installation, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of installed systems.
• Oversee routine and preventative maintenance as the Power Control Station/Power Safety Officer (PCO/PSO).
• Draft daily/monthly/weekly watch bills in support of operational requirements.
• Coordinate with various agencies to maximize circuit readiness and minimize downtime.
• Notify senior program personnel of any anomalies or outages that occur.

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in a related field; or 3 years of relevant experience with a master's degree; or a high school diploma with 9 years of relevant experience.
• Background in Electronic Maintenance, Information Systems, or Telecommunications disciplines.
• Experience with the management of electronic equipment for preventive and corrective maintenance, configuration, and calibration.
• Strong understanding of Safety Procedures when working with electronic equipment.
• Ability to identify and correct emergent problems involving technical and/or facility-related equipment, systems, and components.
• Must possess TS/SCI clearance and be a U.S. citizen.

Nice to Have

• Strong background in communications, fiber optics, and electrical/electronic components.
• Thorough knowledge of the installation and maintenance of electrical/electronic components.
• Experience with Information Systems, Network Infrastructure, Troubleshooting, and Program Analysis.
