Mechanical Technician Trainee - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Mechanical Technician Trainee to join our team remotely. In this role, you will ensure the on-time delivery of equipment as per operational demands. As a Mechanical Technician Trainee, you will play a crucial role in improving maintenance-related nonproductive time ratios of the Product Line's assets within the Maintenance Base (MB), enhancing maintenance efficiency and productivity.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned equipment according to the pertinent maintenance program and comply with the reliability-centered maintenance strategy.
• Adhere to the Computerized Maintenance Management System and standard work practices.
• Record materials and supplies, labor costs, and equipment maintenance performance history through the Technology Lifecycle Management (TLM) business systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset utilization and reduce the cost of service delivery (CoSD).
• Support efforts to improve asset turnaround time by reducing downtime due to maintenance and parts issues.
• Implement CoSD projects, including the planned repair and reuse of parts.
• Participate in failure investigations as assigned to improve overall maintenance processes.
• Comply with the TLM Competency Management System to ensure adherence to standards.

Requirements

• Recent graduates or candidates with relevant technical training in mechanical engineering or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
