Manufacturing Testing Engineer - Power Conversion and Energy Storage (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Testing Engineer - Power Conversion and Energy Storage to join our team remotely. In this role, you will focus on testing Power Conversion and Energy Storage products, specifically inverters, medium voltage variable frequency drives, and battery energy storage systems. Your expertise will ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.

What You'll Do

• Execute functional testing of inverters and related products, ensuring adherence to technical and quality requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with inverters and power stations, leveraging your deep product knowledge.
• Identify opportunities for product quality improvements and develop cost-effective testing solutions.
• Drive excellence in manufacturing testing, achieving zero defects in tested products.
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment for optimal performance.
• Prepare detailed test reports and communicate requirements with engineering teams for continuous improvement.
• Manage Customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and align processes with IEEE and UL standards.
• Participate in early product development stages to enhance manufacturability and prevent test failures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an accredited university.
• 3+ years of experience in inverter testing or related electrical component testing; fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge may also be considered.
• Strong understanding of inverter manufacturing processes and quality assurance principles.
• Proficient in troubleshooting technical issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Familiarity with IEEE and UL standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills for writing test procedures and collaborating with teams.
• English language proficiency in both reading and writing.
