Finance Accounting Specialist - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Accounting Specialist to join our innovative team at ibelsa, a cloud-based hotel software company. This Finance Accounting Specialist remote role offers you the chance to work with a dynamic team dedicated to shaping the future of the hospitality industry. As a Finance Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial processes.

What You'll Do

• Manage the ongoing financial accounting in the accounts payable area.
• Review and post daily business transactions including incoming invoices, travel expenses, credit card transactions, and reimbursements.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, including VAT returns and summary reports.
• Maintain master data and generate reports from the financial accounting system.
• Support the setup of master data in customer billing and order management.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and occasionally with customers.
• Contribute to the optimization of our processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Ensure that our financial data is accurate, structured, and detail-oriented.

Requirements

• Completed commercial training, ideally with further education in financial accounting or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in financial accounting.
• Good knowledge of German tax law, particularly VAT, is desirable.
• Proficient in ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Structured, careful, and independent working style.
• Enjoy contributing to process improvements.
• Team player with reliability.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a SaaS environment.
• Knowledge of additional accounting software.
• Fluency in English is a plus.
