Management Accountant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join the Arora Group in a remote capacity. As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in preparing monthly management accounts and financial statements for our diverse portfolio of retail entities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our financial operations while working remotely.

What You'll Do

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide clear commentary on financial performance.
• Review and validate property agent data to ensure accuracy in reported figures.
• Maintain strong balance sheet control, including oversight of property stock and debtors/creditors.
• Provide month-end packs and business forecasting to support management decision-making.
• Liaise with functional managers to contextualize financial data and reflect business changes.
• Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and statutory regulations.
• Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and annual budgets.

Requirements

• Qualified CIMA or ACCA is preferred.
• Strong experience in management accounting, ideally within property or retail sectors.
• Ability to work with large datasets while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
• Experience with property service charge accounting is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or similar accounting software is advantageous.
• Understanding of UK GAAP and property-specific accounting standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
