About the Role

We are seeking a Localization QA Arabic Game Tester to join our dynamic team at Side. This remote position offers you the chance to work on exciting gaming projects while ensuring that the games are accurately localized for Arabic-speaking audiences. As a Localization QA Arabic Game Tester, you will be the first to experience the localized game in its entirety, including translated text, images, and the user interface. Your role is crucial in ensuring that the game is free from grammatical errors and cultural inconsistencies, ultimately enhancing the user experience.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with a global project team to ensure high-quality localization.
• Identify and correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, and other language errors in the game.
• Ensure adherence to console manufacturer guidelines for localization.
• Log details of errors and issues, providing constructive improvement suggestions.
• Maintain consistency in terminology and imagery throughout the game.
• Identify missing or incorrect content and ensure proper display/format of dates, calendars, and characters.
• Write detailed reports on errors and bugs found and perform ad hoc translations as needed.
• Oversee the quality of your work and contribute to the overall success of projects.

Requirements

• No prior experience required; fluency in Arabic and conversational English is essential.
• Good cultural understanding of the Arabic language.
• Computer literacy, particularly with Excel.
• Strong internet research skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate within project teams.
• Must be located in Portugal, preferably in Braga.
