Legal Counsel - Remote Position at OBRIO

About the Role

We are looking for a Legal Counsel remote to join OBRIO, a leading product IT company within the Genesis ecosystem. OBRIO is on a mission to create Nebula, the largest spirituality brand with over 70 million users. As a Legal Counsel remote, you will play a crucial role in providing legal support across various domains including contracts, corporate law, intellectual property, consumer protection, and data privacy.

What You'll Do

• Draft and review a variety of contracts and legal documents to support our dynamic product business.
• Provide legal guidance on corporate structures across different jurisdictions.
• Identify and assess legal risks in the countries where we operate.
• Develop legal compliance strategies in areas such as marketing, consumer protection, e-commerce, data privacy, and payments.
• Manage and protect the company's intellectual property portfolio.
• Optimize legal processes and develop Legal Operations.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience in a leading legal or tech/product company.
• Strong understanding of commercial and contract law, corporate matters, data privacy, compliance, or IP.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
• Ability to analyze risks, quickly grasp new issues, and translate complex legal topics into understandable business solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience in international business law.
• Familiarity with technology and digital products.
• Previous experience in a startup environment.
