Junior Java Developer - Remote Opportunities Available

What You'll Do

• Understand business requirements and participate in requirements analysis.
• Design applications based on system requirements and architecture.
• Prototype applications as necessary and develop, unit test, and deploy them.
• Work closely with infrastructure teams to ensure the correct setup of servers, load balancers, firewalls, and monitoring systems.
• Assist with technical issues related to API design, performance, and API Gateway.
• Define and maintain design guidelines, programming standards, and software methodologies.
• Build microservices-based solutions using Java/JEE frameworks.
• Comply with department application standards and general industry-based Java/JEE development principles.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Java and J2EE development.
• Hands-on experience using Spring to develop microservices and/or REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of application architecture and design principles.
• Experience with API design and performance optimization.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of database management systems.
