Junior FEoL Reliability Engineer - Semiconductor Manufacturing

About the Role

We are hiring a Junior FEoL Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team at GlobalFoundries, a leading semiconductor manufacturer. This Junior FEoL Reliability Engineer remote position offers a unique opportunity to work in a multinational team located in Dresden, Germany, contributing to the development and qualification of cutting-edge semiconductor technologies.

What You'll Do

• Conduct package-level and wafer-level reliability characterization experiments (FEoL-TDDB, HCI, NBTI & GOI) to support technology development.
• Analyze experimental results, perform lifetime projections, and drive failure analysis for process improvements.
• Evaluate reliability risks and develop mitigation strategies for both internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with global teams in reliability, integration, and process to ensure optimal performance.
• Design reliability test structures and develop innovative measurement methodologies.
• Document reliability test operations and support process reliability monitoring (PRM).
• Conduct fast wafer level reliability measurements (fWLR) for new qualified technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Microtechnology, or related fields.
• Good knowledge of statistical methodologies and project management.
• Familiarity with MS Office, statistical analysis tools (Origin, Minitab), and programming skills (VBA, Python, R) are advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Excellent team player with strong social skills in a multicultural environment.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Nice to Have

• PhD in relevant fields is preferred.
• Fluency in German is a plus.
