IT Support Engineer III - Remote
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer III - Remote to join our dedicated team at The Solutions Team. In this role, you will be responsible for advanced troubleshooting and complex escalations, primarily within the healthcare and dental sectors. As an IT Support Engineer III, you will ensure that our clients receive top-notch support for their IT infrastructure, software applications, and security needs.
What You'll Do
- Handle advanced escalations from lower-level engineers, providing expert guidance and support.
- Diagnose and resolve complex server, networking, and infrastructure issues to maintain optimal performance.
- Support healthcare and dental software applications and imaging systems, ensuring seamless operations.
- Lead and execute infrastructure, cloud, and security projects, driving successful outcomes for our clients.
- Act as a senior technical advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations to enhance their IT systems.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation and system diagrams to support ongoing operations.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of IT support experience, demonstrating a strong background in technical support.
- Advanced expertise in Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and networking technologies.
- Strong project execution and communication skills, with the ability to lead initiatives effectively.
- Healthcare or dental IT experience is preferred, enhancing your understanding of industry-specific needs.
- Advanced PowerShell or scripting knowledge preferred to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
- Experience with macOS and iOS support is a plus, broadening your technical capabilities.
Nice to Have
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices for service management.
