International Controller - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an International Controller to join our dynamic finance team at Mascot. This role offers the opportunity to manage financial operations across multiple international subsidiaries while working remotely. As an International Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate accounting and reporting processes, making this a key position within our finance department.

What You'll Do

• Oversee month-end closing for 3-4 foreign subsidiaries, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage budgeting processes and provide ongoing financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Conduct year-end closings and liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance.
• Perform controlling functions and analyze customer and supplier performance.
• Collaborate closely with country managers and sales organizations to align financial strategies.
• Prepare and submit reports to foreign authorities as required.
• Optimize and automate financial processes to enhance efficiency.

Requirements

• A relevant degree in finance or accounting (e.g., HD(R), HA, Cand.merc.aud).
• Experience in a similar role, preferably with an international focus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Excellent attention to detail and a clear understanding of financial processes.
• Strong communication skills in both Danish and English; proficiency in German and/or French is a plus.
• Proficient in IT, with experience in SAP being advantageous.
