Intern Engineer in Industrialization - Logistics Optimization

About the Role

We are seeking an Intern Engineer in Industrialization to join our team at Lumibird. This Intern Engineer in Industrialization remote position will focus on optimizing internal logistics flows within our production facilities. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency and contributing to our commitment to sustainable development.

What You'll Do

• Analyze existing logistics flows to identify areas for improvement.
• Conduct simulations to optimize processes and workflows.
• Create kitting solutions for production preparation, including 3D printing tool design.
• Study and implement effective logistics strategies.
• Establish pilot projects and measure gains in time, cost, and service quality.
• Manage FOD (Foreign Object Debris) processes.
• Formalize standards and procedures for operational teams.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BAC+5 degree in Engineering, Production, or Logistics.
• Familiarity with flow optimization tools such as Lean, 5S, Kanban, and VSM.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills to understand processes comprehensively.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about hands-on work.

Nice to Have

• Experience with 3D printing technologies.
• Knowledge of industrial engineering principles.
• Previous internship experience in logistics or production environments.
