Integration, Verification, Validation, and Qualification Engineer - Remote

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Integration, Verification, Validation, and Qualification Engineer to join our team remotely. This role is crucial for our Electronic Gates project, which combines document verification and biometric authentication to automate border control. As an Integration, Verification, Validation, and Qualification Engineer, you will work closely with a team based in Spain, offering flexible arrangements, including potential relocation or periodic business trips.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to specification workshops and understand the Solution Design & architecture for validation strategies.
• Review IT design, implementation, and support, including BOM, system, database, and network.
• Conduct end-to-end testing of R&D product customizations and contribute to component-level testing.
• Perform testing, validation, and integration of technical solutions, including functional, security, high availability, and performance testing.
• Manage customer integration operations, including database migration and integration with existing solutions.
• Prepare, lead, and guarantee customer acceptance tests (FAT, SAT, dry run, pilot, etc.).
• Contribute to project security assessments, including risk analysis and vulnerability scans.
• Participate in communities focused on Quality, Security, and Issuance.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Windows and experience with Application Servers/Web Servers (e.g., Tomcat, Wildfly).
• Experience in manual or automated application deployment and configuration.
• Familiarity with SQL databases or similar databases is advantageous.
• Knowledge of web technologies and their security is a plus.
• Validation experience and use case validation on hardware is preferred.
• Experience in writing Acceptance Plans, user guides, and training materials is a plus.
• Proficiency in using the Jira ticketing tool is beneficial.

Nice to Have

• Experience in cloud deployment and pipeline preparation for automatic deployment.
• Fluency in Spanish for effective communication with clients in the Spanish public sector.
