Security Officer - Remote Opportunity with Ward Security

What You'll Do

• Act as a point of contact and information center for staff and visitors.
• Conduct foot patrols within defined areas to deter unauthorized access.
• Guard access points, permitting or refusing entry as necessary.
• Investigate incidents and take appropriate action as authorized by corporate policy.
• Complete daily reports, including relevant information and observations.
• Ensure effective operation of all pass systems relevant to your assignment.
• Conduct lawful searches of vehicles and persons as instructed.
• Maintain a practical working knowledge of firefighting equipment and health and safety instructions.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid SIA license.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• High level of self-presentation and IT literacy.
• Quick thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• A positive attitude towards challenges and dealing with people.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a similar security role.
• Knowledge of emergency response protocols.
• First aid certification.
