Intermediate UX Design Consultant - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an Intermediate UX Design Consultant to join our team remotely. In this role, you will collaborate with Hippo Digital UK to enhance user experiences through innovative design solutions. As an Intermediate UX Design Consultant, you will leverage your strong UX design skills to ensure that users can effectively interact with services in a seamless manner.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate within Agile, multidisciplinary teams to implement a user-centered design process.
• Design end-to-end user journeys that optimize the user experience.
• Utilize insights from user research and metrics to identify pain points and enhance design.
• Create user journey maps, sitemaps, navigation schemas, and annotated wireframes.
• Support user researchers in conducting usability testing.
• Facilitate workshops with your team and stakeholders to foster collaboration.
• Engage with the Hippo design community to share best practices and insights.

Requirements

• Proven knowledge and passion for investigating and developing emerging design, UX, and technology trends.
• Strong ability to recognize and predict use cases and user experiences, including happy paths and edge cases.
• Excellent understanding of user experience design for both mobile and web platforms.
• Experience with rapid prototyping tools such as Sketch and Invision.
• Exceptional consultancy skills, with a focus on client needs and motivations.
• Ability to share your expertise with clients to help them iterate and improve their content.

Nice to Have

• Experience in mentoring junior designers.
• Familiarity with accessibility standards in UX design.
• Knowledge of front-end development principles.
