ICT Designer II - Remote Position at DLB Associates

About the Role

DLB Associates is seeking an ICT Designer II to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. As an ICT Designer II, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in ICT design for commercial building projects while working closely with senior design staff. This position allows you to work virtually from anywhere in the United States, contributing to innovative solutions in engineering and consulting.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the production of low voltage system engineering deliverables, including ICT, Security, and A/V systems.
• Support the creation of BIM/CAD deliverables using Revit and AutoCAD to meet project design requirements.
• Collaborate with technical trade leads to ensure multi-discipline coordination on projects.
• Participate in pre-construction activities, including surveying existing conditions and preparing technical reports.
• Engage in construction activities by reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and preparing project progress reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or associate degree in engineering, construction, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of three years of experience producing construction documents using Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of networking systems, cabling, and components.
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Audio Visual, Access Control, and CCTV systems.
• Familiarity with leveraging AI and emerging technologies.
• Prior experience in a remote work environment.
