HR Operations Specialist - Remote Role for Agritech Startup

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Specialist to join our team at Kodgav. This remote HR Operations Specialist role offers you the opportunity to shape HR functions in a growing Agritech startup. You will be responsible for building and optimizing our HR processes while working 10 to 15 hours per week.

What You'll Do

• Phase 1 (Months 1 to 3): Focus on recruitment and HRIS administration, including writing job descriptions, screening CVs, and managing candidate pipelines using Zoho Recruit.
• Ensure Zoho People and Zoho Recruit are fully configured and optimized for our needs.
• Provide basic payroll support to maintain clean records and document processes.
• Phase 2 (Months 3 to 6): Shift focus to performance management by setting up workflows in Zoho People and advising on best practices.
• Phase 3 (Months 6 to 12): Provide strategic HR support, draft policies, and contribute to culture building as the company scales.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of hands-on HR operations experience, preferably in a startup or scaling SME environment.
• Experience with Zoho People and Zoho Recruit or similar HRIS and ATS platforms.
• Proven experience in implementing performance management systems.
• Strong English fluency, both written and spoken.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection for remote work.
• Self-directed work ethic with the ability to identify and complete tasks independently.
