Project Manager for Total Battle MMO 4X Strategy Game

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Project Manager for Total Battle MMO 4X Strategy Game to join our passionate team at Scorewarrior. This Project Manager role is remote and offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team in the gaming industry. You will play a crucial role in the development of a game that has already attracted 2 million monthly active players.

What You'll Do

• Plan and organize development within a cross-functional team of 20–25 people, ensuring smooth execution of the product roadmap and timely feature delivery.
• Translate feature concepts into actionable plans, manage sprints, coordinate external contributors (art, core/framework teams, localization), and keep the team aligned regarding priorities and timelines.
• Remove blockers and improve team efficiency, maintaining transparency with stakeholders, and supporting continuous process optimization using metrics and analysis.
• Design and maintain a system for measuring the effectiveness of development, applying insights to improve both speed and quality.
• Participate in hiring new team members, helping build a strong, balanced team to support long-term development goals.

Requirements

• Experience driving delivery of new features while maintaining and improving existing systems in a live game with multiple stakeholders and teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to identify development problems, prioritize them, and solve them effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of task management software and a willingness to learn new tools.
• Strong people management skills: hiring, assessment, and development.
• Willingness to relocate to Cyprus to work in our office in Limassol.

Nice to Have

• Experience working as a Project Manager in game development, preferably on live games.
• Understanding of game production pipelines (client/server development, art, QA, live operations).
