Junior DevOps Engineer - Azure Focus (Remote)

About the Role

We’re hiring a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in a fully remote capacity. This Junior DevOps Engineer role is perfect for someone based in the UK looking to kickstart their career in cloud technology. You'll gain hands-on experience with Azure, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with experienced engineers.

What You'll Do

• Support the design, deployment, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines for applications built primarily in .Net and Angular.
• Assist in managing and deploying applications into Kubernetes environments.
• Work with Azure services to provision and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Help monitor system performance, reliability, and availability.
• Troubleshoot deployment and environment issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve release processes.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and automation initiatives.

Requirements

• Some hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP also considered).
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Basic understanding of containers (Docker) and interest in Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
• Strong willingness to learn and develop DevOps skills in a real-world environment.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Kubernetes (AKS or other).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, ARM).
• Understanding of monitoring/logging tools.
• Experience working with developers in an Agile environment.
