Head of Sales - German Speaking for B2B SaaS
About the Role
We are seeking a Head of Sales (German Speaking) to join our team at Secfix. This role is fully remote in Germany or Austria and requires a C2 level proficiency in German. As the Head of Sales, you will be instrumental in leading our sales efforts across the DACH region and beyond, ensuring that we capitalize on the growing demand for our compliance automation solutions. Secfix was founded in Munich in 2021 and has quickly established itself as a leader in compliance automation, helping hundreds of European startups and SMBs streamline their certification processes.
What You'll Do
- Lead and grow our sales team, including Account Executives and BDRs, to achieve ambitious revenue targets.
- Define and refine our sales playbook, focusing on pipeline execution and deal closure.
- Own new Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and revenue targets across DACH and expand into broader Europe.
- Personally manage and close key deals, particularly in the mid-market segment.
- Establish KPIs, quotas, and compensation models to drive team performance.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the sales team, emphasizing accountability and continuous improvement.
- Optimize the outbound prospecting efforts of the BDR team to ensure consistent lead generation.
- Maintain strong CRM discipline and pipeline visibility using HubSpot.
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or player-coach role.
- Proven track record of scaling B2B SaaS to €10M+ ARR.
- Hands-on experience in closing deals and achieving revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of the European sales landscape, particularly in DACH.
- Ability to build effective sales processes and tools for a growing team.
- Experience selling to technical buyers, such as CTOs and IT/Security leads.
- Fluency in German (C2 level) is essential.
Nice to Have
- Background in compliance, GRC, or related SaaS verticals.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and GDPR.
- Experience building a sales function from early-stage through scale.
