Head of ICT Operations - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Head of ICT Operations to join our dynamic team at Cashlink Technologies. In this remote position, you will bridge strategic management and operational excellence, leading our ICT Operations team to enhance the digital resilience of our organization.

What You'll Do

• Lead the ICT Operations team and manage external service providers to ensure effective and efficient ITIL v4 processes.
• Oversee the smooth operation of ICT systems through effective monitoring and pragmatic incident and problem management.
• Manage ICT asset management, including procurement, maintenance, inventory, deployment, and patch management.
• Coordinate identity and access management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements such as BAIT, MaRisk, DORA, and GDPR.
• Work closely with the CISO on risk management and digital operational resilience initiatives.
• Support ICT projects and change management with your expertise, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Plan ICT operational costs, manage licensing, and create KPIs for executive reporting.
• Foster a collaborative team culture that encourages innovation and accountability.

Requirements

• Master's degree in IT or a related field with over 5 years of experience in ICT operations or a similar role.
• Proven leadership experience in a cloud-first environment (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), preferably in a regulated sector such as finance or healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations (BAIT, DORA, MaRisk) and experience with Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English.
• ITIL certification and experience with AWS Cloud are highly desirable.

• Experience in conducting IT audits (e.g., BaFin or auditors).
• Background in information security.
• Experience in the finance sector.
