About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Principal Engineer Software - DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure to join our innovative team at Northrop Grumman. What You'll Do

• Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements, design, implementation, qualification, and delivery of software products.
• Manage cloud infrastructure tools and data, improving container orchestration and deployment strategies.
• Develop tools for continuous integration, software stack support, and code quality.
• Ensure monitoring of security, privacy, and integrity of data and resources.
• Setup an overall Cloud-native Software Factory.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years of related experience; OR a Master's degree with 6 years; OR a PhD with 4 years of experience.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, Python, Go, PowerShell, VBScript, Bash, and/or KornShell.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (PAR).

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud and container management technologies such as VMWare, Docker, Kubernetes, and Redhat OpenShift.
• Recent experience in Cyber Remediation and Cyber Compliance (Risk Management Framework - RMF).
• Experience with continuous deployment systems like Octopus, ArgoCD, and AWS CodePipeline.
• Experience working in an Agile Framework.
