Java Full Stack Lead - Remote Position

About the Role

We are seeking a Java Full Stack Lead to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about leading technical teams and developing innovative solutions. As a Java Full Stack Lead remote, you will play a critical role in architecting and implementing end-to-end solutions that span frontend, backend, APIs, cloud, and data layers.

What You'll Do

• Provide full-stack technical leadership, guiding the design and implementation of reusable components and UI libraries.
• Write high-quality, production-ready code across both frontend (60% Angular) and backend (40% Spring Boot) stacks.
• Drive complex debugging, performance tuning, and reliability improvements.
• Build and evolve REST and GraphQL APIs, microservices, and orchestration layers.
• Lead technical execution for major features and platform modernization initiatives.
• Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and architecture reviews across multiple teams.
• Partner with UX and product leads to translate user journeys into scalable digital experiences.
• Implement automated testing across UI, API, and service layers, ensuring compliance with secure coding practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a focus on Java and Angular.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent debugging and performance tuning skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior developers.
• Experience in enforcing secure coding practices and compliance (HIPAA, PHI, PII).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Go, Node.js, or Python for backend development.
• Experience with distributed caching and client-server patterns.
• Previous experience in a leadership role.
